Lady Knights hold on for win over WT

CONVOY – A dominant second quarter and an outstanding effort from Laci McCoy were enough to lift the Crestview Lady Knights to a 44-40 win over visiting Wayne Trace in the annual girls basketball rivalry game Monday in Convoy.
McCoy posted a double-double in leading the way for Crestview, finishing with 11 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and six steals in the contest.
Lady Knight head coach Mark Gregory was pleased with the effort from his sophomore forward.
“Laci had an outstanding game tonight,” commented the Crestview mentor. “She did a good job of taking what they gave her and she went to the rim to score and to rebound all night long. It was her best game of the season.” ....
