The Southeast Conference Klawock Lady Chieftains defeated the Alakanuk Lady Braves, from the Yukon Delta Conference, 56-19, while the Klawock Chieftains fell to the Shaktoolik Wolverines, from the Bering Sea Conference, 47-40. It was a great start to the tournament, Klawock coach Mary Edenshaw said. Good to get my young girls some experience.
