Farmers To Send Campaign Teams to Poll Bound States Farmers teams to educate voters about their demands The ongoing farmers’ movement is all set to decentralize in a big way and go to all the states. The process has started with the farmers preparing to fan across the five poll bound states to make the masses aware of not only the controversial farm legislations but convert this drive into a political one. Farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal spoke to reporters in Chandigarh saying, “We will be sending teams to the poll bound states and ask the people to punish the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by not voting for it. We are not affiliated to any political party. We will ask the people to vote for any political party they want other than the BJP.” ....

The yatra will conclude on March 18 on Kisan Kranti Diwas at Bihar s Vidhan Sabha in Patna. Kisan yatras will be taken out in Bihar from March 11 to 15, which will conclude on March 18 on the Kisan Kranti Diwas in the Vidhan Sabha March in Patna, in which thousands of farmers will participate, read a statement by the SKM. On March 26, on completion of four months of this movement, a complete Bharat bandh will be observed, the statement added. ....

New Agri Laws Brought in to Loot Farmers, Withdraw Them: Akhilesh Yadav to BJP Govt FOLLOW US ON: Lucknow: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday asked the BJP government to stop atrocities against farmers and withdraw the three agriculture laws brought in for looting them. In a release issued by the party headquarters here, Yadav said the farmers of the country have understood that the BJP government is adopting different tactics to snatch their land and harvest . He accused the BJP government of becoming a puppet in the hands of capitalists . According to the release, the Kisan Yatras being taken out on the call of the SP president continued for the sixth day on Saturday. The party workers took out yatras in their respective areas on cycles, motorcycles, tractors and bullock carts, apprising the people of the party s policies and also assuring the farmers of its support to their demands, it said. ....
