Kind of look like donald trump. joining me now is ezra levin, executive director of the invisible project one of the organizers of the march, back is cornell and kirstin and charlie sykes. what s the point of the rallies, do you really honestly think that rallies are going to make donald trump show his tax returns? you know, first of all, thanks so much for having me. the rallies are great. the rallies are showing members of congress that they need to do their jobs. these rallies are happening, like you said, in 120 communities all across the country in addition to washington, d.c. and, you know, here s the bottom line. i don t know whether or not donald trump is engaging in a big cover-up of his business dealings or relationship with russia. what we do know, members of congress have the unilateral ability to find out and they re not using that power. so the timing of these marches it s great because of tax day but it s also great ....
Terrible things on the floor and lost his job the day donald trump arrived in scotland to check out a golf course. since that time the parliament debated seriously whether or not to keep the president of the united states out of their count rye. in terms of whether we get to do what britain told us to do if i may say so, settled in 1776. in terms of that, be done with it and move on. right. kirstin? i think i m not sure donald trump considers this a mistake. i really think we can get right down to it, he cares about one thing only and that s himself. he is consumed with what he thinks is being done it him and not concerned about the repercussions of when he says these things and the impact they have on other people and you can see it in the way he responded. he continues to act like this is the most important thing in the world and doesn t matter what ....
He has the messy truth under way after 360. kirstin, i am not sure where to begin on this, but the press conference at the white house, the white house has gotten in deep on this and doesn t seem to be able to back out. they are in a bad situation because sean spicer has to defend donald trump because he doesn t want to back down from this. what struck me is he rolled out the evidence. donald trump tweeted i just found out and he went on this tweet rampage about how he was wire tapped. i think most of us think i just found out something, someone came in and briefed you. if i said i just found out something and it turned out i just found on out by reading it in the newspaper, that s not just finding out. everybody knows that. it turns out what it was is he was watching fox news. he found out something from sean hannity and that s embarrassing for the white house, i think. ....
What do you think about this? recusal was always going to happen. the letter of the law is clear. someone involved in a campaign can t investigate that campaign. here is why i am troubled by this. this should be something that s relatively easy to clean up. if jeff sessions didn t talk about the election with the russian ambassador, tell us what you talked about. did you talk about the iran deal? did you talk about sanctions? you have to tell us what you talked about. this should be an easy cleanup. but beyond that, i am uncomfortable with the fact that jeff sessions did not disclose a meeting with a known russian spy. rather than asking other senators on the hill do you think he should be recused, i think they should be asked, are you comfortable that he hosted a private session with a known russian spy and wasn t forthcoming with it. that s what i am concerned about at this moment. kirstin, what do you make of this? you now have republicans in conflict with republicans about this ....
Wanted to be associated with. and to have that trump, the duty, which he has shown throughout his life and the many years of service, is significant and it s significant for the administration, if you can t attract that kind of top talent for an extremely important position. kirstin, what do you think this press conference accomplished? it s certainly, i guess, was a way to push back on those critics who said, he s not talking to a lot of different reporters. he took questions from everyone. i think from his perspective, it shows he s probably a little frustrated with sean spicer, is what i would read into this. and this is how he would like press conferences to be handled if i m sean spicer today, i would not i would be nervous. i would be nervous. and he probably just decided, i m going to do out and do it, because i know how to do it. and he did issue i would say the upside of it, if there s an upside of it, he spent an hour and 15 minutes talking to reporters, taking qu ....
