Joie M. Da Cruz was born in southern Africa, but credits the education she received at Gaston College with helping her pursue a career as a paralegal in a Charlotte law office.
King Law Office hired Joie M. Da Cruz as a personal injury case manager in January after she completed Gaston College s paralegal technology program. She had earlier earned her associate degree in applied science in May 2020.
A native of Namibia, Da Cruz was raised in the capital city of Windhoek. Her first exposure to the legal system came at 18 when she was worked as a typist for court proceedings in the Katutura Magistrate Courthouse in her home country.
