The 15 year old boy has lifethreatening injuries. Police say he shot himself just before eight this morning outside the schools auditorium. They rushed him to a hospital and roped off the area where it happened. Jefferson went under a short lockdown, but no one else was injured. Kcrg tv nines Dave Franzman joins us from Jefferson High School tonight. Dave, what have students told you about this . Who reported hearing some kind of a popping sound as they were entering one of the school buildings. Police dont believe anyone witnessed the shooting, and it was the sound that prompted those here to investigate and find the wounded student.
