A teenage girl is dead and a fellow student is in custody after a stabbing at a Leduc high school Monday morning.
Leduc RCMP responded to a 911 call just before 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic School, on the city’s east side.

There, officers found a 17-year-old girl who had been stabbed inside a classroom, RCMP Insp. Dale Kendall told reporters.
The student was rushed to hospital in critical condition in a STARS air ambulance. She was flown to University of Alberta Hospital, where she later died.
