Deji Elumoye in Abuja President Muhammadu Buhari has written a letter of good wishes to King Abdullahi II Bin Al-Hussein of Jordan in which he disclosed that he was having a short rest in London, the United Kingdom. The President, according to a statement issued yesterday his media assistant, Malam Garba Shehu, sent the letter of solidarity to King Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, following the resolution of a recent rift in the royal family. In the letter, Buhari said he felt much disturbed when he heard reports of the problem but felt reassured when he learnt that everything had been resolved amicably. ....

In an apparent easing of the palace conflict, Prince Hamzah signed a statement from the palace last night, saying: âI place myself in the hands of His Majesty the King. The interests of the homeland must remain above every consideration. We must all stand behind the king in his efforts to protect Jordan and its national interests. I will remain committed to the constitution of the dear Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and I will always be of help and support to His Majesty the King and his Crown Prince.â ....
