Weston duo s walk for life Published: 11:00, 20 February 2021 A mother and daughter duo is walking every day in February to raise money for a charity close to their hearts. Teresa Thorpe and daughter Kimberley Waite, from Weston, have been walking between two-and-a-half and 10 miles-a-day to raise money for Cancer Research UK after Teresa was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer last year. Teresa has been amazed by the development of research into cancer treatment after experiencing very few side effects, which pushed her to donate funds by walking 56 miles already this month.
