Roger Edgar Libby. PORT CLYDE Roger Edgar Libby, 88, died peacefully, following a period of declining health, Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Sussman Hospice House in Rockport. Born in Thomaston, he was the son of Edgar and Dorothy Cramer Libby. He was educated locally, graduating from Thomaston High School in 1951. Following high school Roger entered the U.S. Navy serving in the Mediterranean Sea on an Air Craft Carrier during the Korean War. Returning to the States, he married Betty Kobs on June 13, 1954. Roger spent much of his career as a truck driver. Starting as a “milk man,” he worked his way up, eventually driving for Martin Marietta Corporation for many years before retiring. ....

These things do take time, based on the availability of key people needing to be free to meet with us. “All children involved and their parents, excluding [student], have now been interviewed appropriately by the school’s Social Worker who informs me that [staff member’s] perspective that this was game [sic] that the children appeared to enjoy and wished to play with her was by all accounts the correct version of this event.” ....
