River Falls Public Library bringing mystery thrill author and more to local readers

Here are some of the things happening in early May at River Falls Public Library: River Falls Public Library hours: Weekdays 10 a.m. to noon curbside pickup by appointment only; noon to  6 p.m. walk-in; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. walk-in Program broadcasts: RFPL Facebook Live or recorded on RFPL YouTube channel.  All ages Antlers and the Animals that Wear Them, 6 p.m. Thursday, May 4. Kurt Mead, naturalist and author of Dragonflies of the North Woods, will discuss the ecologies of these animals and the stresses that they face.  Camping 101, 6 p.m. Thursday, May 20. Kim Kiiskinen of the library, Jake Brunnquell of University of Wisconsin-River Falls and Scot Schoepp of Nugget Lake County Park will teach everything you need to start camping close to home for under $100.
