Woburn Memorial High School awarded science grants Community Content Woburn Memorial High School has received six grants totaling $345,000 to support the development of its Innovation Pathways and to purchase manufacturing and biotechnology equipment, announced Kim Gustenhoven, science curriculum coordinator grades 6-12. During the spring of 2020, WMHS received the designation as an Innovation Pathway high school from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Education and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Since that time, the school has received a series of competitive grants to support the development of its two pathways: advanced manufacturing and biotechnology. The following grants were awarded: • Cummings Foundation Grant, $100,000: WMHS is one of 130 local nonprofits to receive a grant through the Cummings Foundation’s $20 Million Grant Program.
