Kūlanihākoʻi High School in Kīhei will officially open next month. The $245 million state-of-the art campus will open in August with a temporary certificate of occupancy.
On Friday, Feb. 10 when work concludes at 3:30 p.m., the contractor will open all lanes through the roundabout. There will be two lanes open in each direction through the roundabout. The right turn lane in and out of Kūlanihākoʻi Street will be open.
The opening of the new Kūlanihāko‘i High School campus in Kīhei is delayed due to outstanding issues related to requirements for a grade-separated pedestrian crossing across the Pi‘ilani Highway to access the campus.
