Feb. 5 Two more Whatcom County residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died and the number of confirmed cases in the county climbed by 74, the Washington State Department of Health s dashboard reported on Thursday, Feb. 4.
Overall, Whatcom County has seen 5,809 confirmed cases and 68 related deaths during the pandemic, according to state data as of 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, meaning 1.2% of all COVID cases in Whatcom County have been linked to a death.
Forty-seven additional probable cases an increase of three from Wednesday s report have been reported in Whatcom County during the pandemic, resulting from positive antigen tests not confirmed by a molecular test. ....

Jan. 27 Whatcom County had its 60th COVID-related death during the pandemic reported by the Washington State Department of Health s dashboard on Tuesday, Jan. 26, and its confirmed case total increased by 23.
Overall, Whatcom County has seen 5,254 confirmed cases to go along with the 60 related deaths during the pandemic, according to state data as of 11:59 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, meaning 1.1% of all COVID cases in Whatcom County have been linked to a death.
Fifteen additional probable cases unchanged from Monday s report have been reported in Whatcom County during the pandemic, resulting from positive antigen tests not confirmed by a molecular test. ....

One death and 26 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Whatcom County, according to the Washington State Department of Health Wednesday, Dec. 9.
Whatcom County now has seen 2,763 confirmed cases and 54 related deaths during the pandemic, according to state data as of 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8. That means that 2% of the Whatcom residents who have tested positive for COVID during the pandemic have died.
The state Department of Health data Wednesday also showed Whatcom County has had 159 hospitalizations (no change from Tuesday’s report). ....
