The panel, headed by Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue) Nitin Kareer, has now sought a month's extension for the report. Following the Kharghar tragedy, the state government on April 21 announced the formation of the panel to probe the incident and submit the report within a month.
According to the relatives Deshmukh, a driver by profession and a follower of Dharmadhikari, had gone to Kharghar two days before the event and returned after the event. Next day, he developed some health complications and high temperature.
