Police said the duo’s wrists had been bound together with a cloth, leading to suspicion that it may have been a suicide pact. inquest proceedings under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure have been initiated.
Police said that Lal Babu Rai, 49, a native of Amwa Kalan in Shibhar district of Bihar, had been living in the village for nearly a decade and used to cook food for the migrant labourers.
