But courts dont just stop actions, courts can cause actions, courts can cause the executive branch to take steps. And thats the basis of our suit. not even know it. we love the free apps. we do. we do. but look, your smartphone apps are watching you. not all of them, but many of them are watching you. and now a key trade association is trying to develop some rules for the road. because there have been a lot of concerns about online privacy. it s like jumbo shrimp, an oxy-moron. a key trade group calling for new rules on global privacy days after a wall street journal investigation found that apps were transmitting your information unknowingly to third parties. and this month the ftc called for a do not track list to keep your privacy safe. here s what we know, this trade group developing new guidelines for text messages, e-mails, phone calls show that your information isn t being broadcast out there. smartphone applications are exploding. it is the wild west. all of this information being shared out there so people can make money off of you, presumably. let me give you an example. pandora, a popular iphone application for mus
