From tiny little eggs to 'three beautiful chicks': peregrine falcon brood growing quickly at Hopewell Rocks park

Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park opened for the season on Friday but this year, lucky visitors will have one extra attraction to check out besides the usual sights and sounds of the wind and waves.
We’ve gone from seeing tiny little eggs under mom to seeing three beautiful chicks that are just growing, said Kevin Snair of Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park.
A pair of peregrine falcons have called the park home for the last 13 years, but just nine days ago, they added to their family tree.
The young one was not this white fluffy thing that I was expecting, Snair said. He was kind of wet and kind of less pretty? I don’t want to hurt his feelings, but he wasn’t a pretty chick! ....

Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park opens to the public on May 21, but when visitors arrive, they ll take in more than just the historic rock formations.
Park goers can expect to see a few new feathered friends as well.
Perched high in the cliffs of Hopewell Rocks sits a nest full of eggs and excitement.
Kevin Snair, the public relations and marketing coordinator for Hopewell Rocks, recalls his reaction to watching the nest cam earlier this spring.
There s eggs there! There s three eggs there! he said. And then, upon closer inspection when I watched the video back and put it in slow motion, she bumps one of the eggs and I can see a fourth one in behind, and its like sweet! Theres four!! ....
