Before we begin the program, i would like to recognize all the gold star family members we havp with us here today, the mothers, fathers, wives, siblings, spouses, nieces, nephew, and the sons and daughters in touch, all those who have experienced the loss of a loved one and know all too well the sacrifices that our military families make. Nearly 300 fire department members, retirees, and friends of the fire service came together Monday to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services.
Dozens of workers from seven different departments across Cherokee County worked together to build a Little Free Food Pantry in an underserved community, just in time for the holiday season.
