Held a short time ago. Even the fbi has been invited in to make sure the Sheriffs Department has done a fair and thorough investigation. It was rare to see sheriff smith grow emotional as she extended her sympathy to the family of the inmate who died in the jail last thursday morning. The county coroner was here too to announce that the 31yearold sustained multiple Blunt Force Trauma and bled to death in his single occupancy cell on the sixth floor of the main jail. The Sheriffs Office was silent for a week until they revealed two deputies were arrested at their homes this morning. Rodriguez surrendered later. Each was booked, fingerprinted and photographed at the very same jail where theyre accused of taking the life of an inmate they swore to protect. Reporter tyrie was discovered unresponsive.
