The other sparked a kipling Village Apartments on october 21st. The third fire happened at American Hotel on october 28 and 1 in the morning on halloween, they say there was interstate inn. Theyre saying its arson. Police say theyre looking for and shooting that happened on 53rd avenue. Theyre looking for two car description as black mustang and a mercury. Is being recalled because of to personnelly deadly airbags. Thats 34 million vehicles, the largest auto recall in u. S. History. The airba blamed for five deaths and more than 100 injuries. They were made by japans takata corporation, and heres jeff glor. Up until now takata has refused to acknowledge that their airbags are defective. That changes today. Reporter after months of prodding transportation secretary anthony foxx said takata finally gave in, agreeing to this recordsetting recall. The national Highway Traffic Safety Administration believes that moisture from humidity leaks into the airbags inflater, changing the properties of the chemical used to inflate the bags. When this happens the explosive force can rupture the metal casing sending shrapnel flying through the vehicle. Why this is happening officially is still not clear.
