A ‘surreal’ experience for Harrisburg Senators fans at their first game in 2 years

COVID-19 hit more than a year ago, putting a halt on many of our everyday activities in Central Pa.
But Tuesday marked a turning point, when the Harrisburg Senators opened their gates to fans for the first time in two years. They played their season opener against the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
Tickets sold quickly as people highly anticipated the first game of the season and a chance to get into the local ballpark.
Team president Kevin Culp said the number for fans ranged between 1,800 to 1,900 to see the players back on the diamond for the first time since the pandemic. Culp said they have been preparing for months for opening day. ....
