Marathon Man Ian Lawton Going That Extra Mile In Memory Of His Son

Marathon man Ian Lawton going that extra mile in memory of his son
A father is encouraging men to ‘speak up, not man up’ as he sets himself the challenge of running a marathon a month – ten years on from his son’s death.
In February 2011, Ian Lawton suffered a devastating loss when his son Hank died just one day after he was born.
For years, the only way the bereaved father from Navan, Co. Meath, coped with his loss was through excessive eating, which saw him gain over 25 stone.
