it got to a point where ken was finally talking to him about dna and where we could get dna from. he basically said, well, you got me, and he still wouldn t say it. so i finally looked at him and said, come on, dennis, just tell us who you are. you re btk. okay. we begin tonight with breaking news in the case. we have just learned that dennis rader has now been booked into the sedgwick county jail. peters: rader has been charged with 10 counts now of first-degree murder. today is a very historic day for the wichita police department.

foulston: he was really prolific. he used to take photographs of himself. he would half-bury himself. he would swing from trees. he would put masks on. he would put women s clothing on. it was despicable, disgusting, sexually bereft-type of stuff that you have never seen in your life and you don t ever want to see again. and that was all involved with that case. in our minds, as this was discussed and kind of profiled down at the behavioral science unit, was really his art. and he does a lot in what we call the expressive style. he really likes that. o connor: he actually entered pleas of guilty to the 10 homicides, and so judge waller had rader describe the murders at his guilty plea, and i believe dennis rader was more than happy to describe what he had done.
