THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Friday that the situation in the state was worsening and a full lockdown might be imposed in some districts.
“The numbers show that the situation in the state is going worse. The interventions have been strengthened at all levels. Apart from the restrictions announced earlier, a full lockdown may have to be imposed in some districts where the disease spread is high with Test Positivity Rate above 50,” said Pinarayi Vijayan.

Thiruvananthapuram: Months ahead of the Assembly Elections in Kerala, the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government has decided to refer rape cases registered against Congress leader Oommen Chandy and five other leaders to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
A woman, also the prime accused woman in the multi-crore solar panel scam during the previous United Democratic Front (UDF) government, had in the past filed a complaint against six persons, claiming that she was sexually exploited by them in 2012.
