A total of 40 new cases of COVID-19 in the region today. Most are in the Kenora area with 38 positive reports. There was also one in Dryden/Red Lake and one in the Sioux Lookout area. The 38 cases are by far a one day record in the Kenora area. The Wabaseemoong First Nation sent out a release last night saying “As many people are aware, the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading within the Kenora Region, and it is having impact on our community.
