This is a busy time of year for the Kenora Cat Shelter, which is completely non-profit and volunteer run.
They have put together a Canada Day themed T-Shirt, hoodie and tote bag fundraiser with all of the proceeds going towards various needs for the cats.
With the help of Mallons in Dryden, the fundraiser is offering T-Shirts and hoodies for all sizes with a portion of the proceeds going to the shelter. All proceeds from tote bag sales will go to help with the Kenora Cat Shelter efforts.

During the recent cold snap, two good Samaritans went out of their way to save a cat freezing outside on the Minaki highway.
