Hunt for thugs who brutally attacked parents on family day out with their kids
A COUPLE who were attacked in broad daylight were assaulted in front of their children, it has emerged. The family were sitting on a grassy bank in Blairdardie Road on Saturday when they were seriously assaulted. As previously reported, the 26-year-old woman and 30-year-old man were treated in hospital for serious head and back injuries. The children, who are under the age of ten, watched as their parents were attacked by a group of thugs. Police are keen to speak to teenagers who were in the area at the time and who may have moved off towards the canal path and towards Garscadden Road.

As previously reported, the 26-year-old woman and 30-year-old man were treated in hospital for serious head and back injuries following the assault. Police now say they are keen to speak to teenagers who were in the area at the time and who may have moved off towards the canal path and towards Garscadden Road.
