Central Maine Company Donates $1 Million to Children’s Center Expansion In a story that just keeps getting better and better, another massive donation has come in to the Children s Center to help them boost their expansion project goals. The Children s Center is currently fundraising for their 14,000 square foot expansion in an effort to do away with the center s lengthy services wait list. The most recent, and largest donation, has come from Charlie and Nancy Shuman. The Shuman family own the Charlie s Family of Dealerships in Augusta which, according to the Bangor Daily, is the largest new car dealership in the state of Maine.
