A car has rolled and landed in a paddock in Linton following a single-car crash. Emergency services were called to the scene on Tennent Dr, State Highway 57, near Kendalls Line between Tokomaru and Palmerston North, just after 12.20pm on Monday. The vehicle veered off the road, rolling into a paddock, Fire and Emergency spokeswoman Alison Munn said. The passengers were out of the vehicle when firefighters arrived, she said. Ambulance staff treated one person with minor injuries, a St John spokeswoman said. A passerby, who didn’t want to be named, said the car was an SUV that landed upside down. It was the second car to crash in the same paddock in recent weeks, she said.
