Frost Bank Chuck Wagon Breakfast It’s time for the Kendall County Fair, which means Frost is cooking something up. Swing on by for a Chuck Wagon Breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 30, at the Boerne Financial Center located at 1300 S. Main St. in Boerne. There will be scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, peach cobbler, and coffee. Come on down and enjoy a delicious meal the only way Texans know how: full of friends, family, and big appetites. This event is free and open to the public.
Join the annual, statewide 4-H Can Make a Difference Food Drive, held in conjunction with the State Fair Aug. 11-13. Donations of nonperishable food and care items also may be brought to the DuPage County Fair on July 28-30 in Wheaton, the Kendall County Fair on Aug. 3-6 in Yorkville, or the Kane County Extension Office in St. Charles by Aug. 7.
