Yesterday, I received a pre-action notice via WhatsApp from Mr Ken Ahia, SAN, demanding an apology, retraction of my post asking questions on Solberg Nigeria Limited and his involvement with the company and the ongoing election petition in Abia State. He also demanded N1bn as damages. I am obviously not a lawyer but I am aware the truth is a defense in law and in a democracy such as we are practicing in Nigeria, citizens are free to ask question especially when they see a suspicious relationship that will likely lead to corruption and/or conflict of interest in leadership.
