SunStar Drug bust in Makati (Contributed/PNP) Drug bust in Muntinlupa (Contributed/PNP) + March 09, 2021 OVER P113 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) were seized and seven individuals were arrested in two separate operations in the cities of Muntinlupa and Makati on Monday evening, March 8, 2021. Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. A report by the Muntinlupa City Police Office said members of the Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a drug bust at 9:05 p.m. Monday in Barangay Tunasan. Those arrested were Liezel Julhasan, 40; Donnalyn Julsahan, 21; Denver Porlahe, 19; Sharifa Kuly, 28; and Rovelyn Enot, 40. ....

Debold Sinas, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), said the confiscated shabu were packed in tea bags, each containing one kilo and with a street value of P108 million in total. He identified those arrested as Kemin Manisi, 49; and, Abdulrahim Ysmael, 28. Both are residents of Cagayan de Oro City. Sinas said the buy-bust occurred after operatives of the Makati City drug enforcement unit were able to convince the suspects to sell shabu for P1 million in Barangay West Rembo in Makati City at 9:45 p.m. on Monday. Seized from them were 16 pieces of tea bags containing shabu, several cellular phones, various identification cards, a Sports Utility Vehicle and the boodle money. ....
