Stacey, 27, of Troy, was charged June 9 with unlawful possession of a stolen firearm, a Class 2 felony; unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony; and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a Class 4 felony. The case was presented by the Glen Carbon Police Department. According to court documents, on June 8 Stacey allegedly was found to be in possession of a stolen Taurus 740 Slim .40 caliber handgun, without a Firearm Owners Identification Card and less than five grams of methamphetamine. ....
Troy man faces aggravated DUI, driving while revoked charges Scott Cousins, [email protected] FacebookTwitterEmail EDWARDSVILLE A Troy man was charged Thursday with DUI after a December incident. Russell C. Mongiovi, 62, was charged with aggravated driving while under the influence, a Class 2 felony, and aggravated driving under the influence while license revoked/suspended, a Class 4 felony. The case was presented by the Troy Police Department. According to court documents, on Dec. 26 Mongiovi was found to be driving a 2004 Honda Odyssey while under the influence of alcohol at the time his license had been revoked. It was noted he had previous related convictions in 1990 and 2012. Bail was set at $60,000. ....
