I would come up from the city after getting the other three kids off to school. I would spend the day with my kid, and we basically we literally pass each other coming out of the headlines. Honk honk, hey, good to see. We were in a position to be able to do this. If there were an olympic sport for a logistics, i would have won the gold medal that year for making thatll making that all happen. He took time off work, i took time off work and we had people willing to work with us to make it happen. Not everyone has that. There are some families that can even make trips because they dont have support. When we talk about experiential field trips, and making them available. We need to make them equitable. I would love to work with the district on writing some verbiage into that. The c. A. C. Would. Thank you. Thank you. Im going to excuse our incredible allstars. They get to go home early and we have to stay. Thank you for your service. Have a good evening. May i hear a motion and second on
Festival. He did the food event. He has partnered with our sound inspectors in the city for smaller events. I have photos of the stage i can show them if you would like to take a look . I just want to know the experience. Yeah. Although you are pointing away from the hotels, but sometimes we get across the bay the sound travels. So they are used to handling things like that. But its such a small, these are small groups, right . Local. Yeah, like garage bands. Huge systems. The grammy award winner, i was chatting with the owen brothers today on the phone. And really they do fourpart harmony. They actually sing the National Anthem at big events. And they are big on vocals and not big on a lot of thumping base. Its not like an edm metal concert. Its look at our musicality not how loud we can be. Ironically we took a look at who is going to be complaining and the only potential nuisance would be the north apartments which are on the other side. So we are projecting the music towards alcatr
And im on the water committee. I am greatly concerned about this issue, as being knowledgeable of the results of earthquakes in 1906 and 1989 in San Francisco. This is the most pressing problem that we face, as a city. I would wholly endorse the comments that have already been made, but let me add that time is of the essence. You know, i look at this project and think that this is relatively small, compared to the water rebuild system that the p. U. C. Has pretty much completed at this point. That happened in roughly 17 years, at max. You know, the United States sent a man to the moon in ten years, upon the leadership of jack kennedy. Building this system doesnt cost that much. And it needs to be done. Politics needs to take a backseat to the technical needs of getting a comprehensive Fire Suppression system that uses nonpotable water from answer infinite source. Thats what the grand jury has essentially argued for. Bell dings and so thats why i urge you to support this Going Forward i
Grand jury report. And of their findings. And their recommendations. Woodframe building, built in 1915, like so many woodframe buildings on the west side and southern sides of town, where theres a greater concentration of families and children. At present, we dont have a system that can handle the big one in those areas. I feel strongly that the city departments and the financing people need to focus on solving this question seriously. I thank the grand jury for their recommendations, for their effort and i thank mr. Dute and nancy werfell for having led so many people and explain this to them. Thank you. Mar thank you.
