hospital. as we reported this morning on today in the bay, both men had to go to surgery as a result of the gun shot wounds during that gunfire exchange. i want to show you we re still here on diamond and market street. the area is still taped off. there in the distance, that s where the shooting took place near 18th and diamond. a very active scene as you can see right there. go ahead and show you guys some video from earlier, we ve been here since about 4:30. san francisco police are saying the shooting took place just after midnight. officers working their beat in the castro district on halloween night and they were flagged down by someone who said there was a suspicious car in the area that we just showed you off of 18th and diamond. when they approached the car, they said gunfire was exchanged between the male suspect and the officer, resulting in gun shot wounds to one officer and the suspect. now it s the number of gunshots that really has everyone in the area talkin
cloud in the sky, humidity levels are uncomfortable, but they will be dropping during the afternoon. temperature-wise, 74 in philadelphia. 72 in millville. wilmington, 73. dover, 73. atlantic city, 75. here s the problem right here, just like yesterday at this time dewpoints are in the low to mid 70s makes for an uncomfortable morning. dover, 73. philadelphia, 71. millville, 72 on the dewpoint scale it s all the way at the top. well, what you would have saw, it gets all the way to the top, becomes very uncomfortable once we start talking about dewpoints in the upper 60s and low 70s. later this afternoon we replace the low 70s with upper 50s, low 60s. that results means dewpoints are on the comfortable side. once again, we are talking about lower humidity levels over the next few days, that s the big story today, tomorrow and tuesday. it will be hot, high temperatures close to 90 degrees, if not a few degrees warmer than that in a few locations. for the jersey shore, 85 degree
starting with nice weather along the shore and everywhere across the area. temperatures are warming up too. 75 in wildwood. also atlantic city millville, philadelphia coming in close to 80 degrees right now. areas north and west about the mid-70s at the moment. as we go through today, we re going to keep these drier conditions in the forecast. that s going to give us more sunshine than we had yesterday for sure. locally, though we have a few clouds trying to move into parts of delaware and south jersey. it s part of this weather system to our south. so for today, most of the rain will be holding off to our south. as we go into the weekend, we are talking about our increasing rain chances. here s future weather. clouds move in today, but tomorrow that s when the clouds and more rain starts to move in. for saturday more cloud cover scattered throughout the day. we ll watch closely for your fireworks plans. as we go into the rest of the afternoon, by noon 80 degrees. by 3:00 p.m
