Mobile vaccine clinic at Gervais High
Salem Health will host a mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinic from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 25 at Gervais High School, 300 Douglas Ave. NE. All eligible patients age 12 and older are welcome. No appointments are required. The Pfizer vaccine will be given.

Mt. Angel close to selecting new superintendent
After completing a multi-state search that began with 26 applicants and included an application screening and initial round of interviews, the Mt. Angel School District s school board recently announced the two finalists for superintendent.
According to a news release, Allen Barber has worked in the Eagle Point School District since 2007. He has held a variety of roles, including middle and high school principal as well as human resource director for eight of those 14 years. In 2006, he was named the Oregon Symphony Music Educator of the Year.
