minutes away from weather and traffic on wbtv news this morning. john: thanks, chris. in campaign 2016, in less than three hours, polls across mecklenburg county will open for early voting in north carolina. there are several races involved and a few changes to voting this year. our mark davenport is live in charlotte with much more on this. so mark, what do folks need to know if they are voting early? reporter: john, i can tell you it starts at 8:00. at one of these areas in mecklenburg county where i am, the earliest of the early voting locations on cpcc s campus, facility services building opens up at 8:00. at 10:00, 16 other locations here in mecklenburg county will open up for early voters. that is when things start rolling and get going this morning. not just today for early voting, the next ten days, then two days off before the election on march 15th. you have ten days for early voting and early voting has been something of a phenomenon in north carolina b ....
