When Richard (Ric) Cuming was growing up in Montreal, he never dreamt he’d one day meet the President of the United States let alone inject him with a potentially life-saving vaccine during a global pandemic.
But Cuming, a 1984 graduate of the John Abbott College nursing program in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, did just that on Jan.11 when he gave Joe Biden, then the president-elect, his second dose of the Pfizer vaccine at a medical facility in Newark, Delaware.
