So, it actually started back in 1995, so that was shortly after there started to be an Asian Pacific American Heritage month, so we feel like its one of the longeststanding celebrations of ap heritage month. And since that time, weve received nearly 25,000 different entries from k through 12 students from across the bay area, and awarded more than half a Million Dollars to the top 1,000 winners across those years.
