THREE schools in the Bradford district are closed today due to the local elections. Abbey Green Nursery School & Children s Centre, Green Lane, Manningham; Keelham Primary School and Thornbury Primary Leadership Academy are all closed today as they are each acting as polling stations. At Abbey Green, Green Lane, Manningham, to keep everyone safe during Covid-19 all children will be provided with home learning for the day. Any parents requiring urgent assistance, can call Midland Road Nursery School on 01274 546492. The staff team will be based at school all day. Keelham Primary School is closed to all pupils and staff today, but learning is available for all pupils through the school website and Class Dojo accounts. If parents need to contact the school throughout the day, email office@keelham.bradford.sch.uk Thornbury Primary Leadership Academy is closed to pupils but open to staff.
Out of that total, 149 are fully shut to ALL pupils. The remaining 12 schools are described as being partially closed. Nine of those schools have shut at different points throughout the day. Both
Midland Road Nursery closed at 11.45am, while
Eden Boys Leadership Academy, Bradford shut at 12pm and
Glenaire Primary School closed its doors at 12.30pm.
Baildon C of E Primary School and
East Morton C of E Primary School both made the decision to shut at 1pm, while
Menston Primary School asked parents and guardians to pick students up between 1.15pm and 1.30pm. Finally,
Wibsey Primary School are closing from 2pm.
