Two key witnesses testified before a Chambers County grand jury Thursday about the Sarah Hartsfield murder case as new documents emerged in the latest twist of the case getting national attention.
Sarah Hartsfield, the Chambers County woman accused of murder after her fifth husband died, is sharing her first public words since her arrest in February.
According to a report from KTRK in Houston, Sarah Hartsfield allegedly attempted to take her own life with a pencil sharpener blade on Wednesday, March 1.
Sarah Hartsfield, 48, appeared via Zoom at her first court hearing Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to murdering her fifth husband, Joseph Hartsfield, in January.
