Jacksonville voters will determine next week which of three candidates for mayor will be on the ballot in April.
Newcomers Nicole Riley and Jason Stansfield have thrown their hats into the ring, as has longtime incumbent Andy Ezard.
Voters will determine the top two candidates during Tuesday s primary. The two will advance to the April election.
Ezard, 52, is serving his third term as Jacksonville mayor. He was elected to the position in 2009, after serving as city clerk from 2005 to 2009.
“I believe I have a good track record and that is influenced by working with dedicated department heads and city employees and other tremendous support staff in our community day in and day out,” Ezard said. “We have tackled some big projects in my tenure and I look forward to taking on more.
