5 members of smuggling group held with 40-kg ganja in city 393 DHAKA, Jan 10, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Organized Crime and Car Theft Prevention Team have arrested five members of a smuggling ring along with 40 kilograms(kg) of ganja during a special operation, led by Team Leader Mohammad Ariful Islam, from airport areas of the capital. The operation was directed by DMP Detective Branch (Wari Division) Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Ahad, and was supervised by Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohammad Jasim Uddin, said a DMP press release issued here today. The arrested are : Md Matiur Rahman ,28, son of late Delwar Hossain, Md Arif Bepari ,30, son of Md Harun Bepari, Shiuli Begum Shilpi 40, wife of Md Kawchar Ali, Arifa ,25, daughter of Md Altaf and Sharmin ,30, wife of Dulal. ....
