No The CB500X again stands out here as the only motorcycle to feature a fully-digital instrument cluster with a negative LCD. The other two show their age as they retain their old semi-digital setups. But the CB and the TRK both get full-LED lighting while the Versys 650 still features a split halogen headlamp with bulb indicators. Honda has also equipped the CB500X with ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) which switches on the hazard lights under emergency braking along with HISS (Honda Ignition Security System) for added safety. Among other bits, the TRK 502 gets crash protectors on either side, a mounting plate at the rear, and aluminium knuckle guards as standard, while the other two miss out on these. Surprisingly, none of these ‘ADVs’ feature spoke wheels, even as an option, owing to their road-biased nature. That said, our sources have revealed ....

The road-biased ADV tourer could be the perfect all-rounder that India has been waiting for and now it is finally here. As promising as it is going to be to ride this Honda ADV, it has arrived with a huge sticker price. What’s The Price? Who Are Its Rivals? Rs 6.87 lakh is what Honda is asking for the CB500X. That’s bonkers money for a bike of its size and capabilities. For far far far less, you could get the Benelli TRK 502, which offers a similar performance but is far more imposing. For just Rs 7,000 more, you could get the more powerful Kawasaki Versys 650. Sure, the service and maintenance costs of the Honda are likely to be way cheaper than what you would spend on the Kwacker, but it is just too steep a price to pay for the CB500X. ....
