United Way of Santa Fe County will terminate its membership with United Way Worldwide next month and continue operations under the name Growing Up New Mexico.

SANTA FE – United Way of Santa Fe County next month will sever ties with the parent nonprofit but continue its mission to work to improve early childhood education opportunities while operating under a new name, Growing Up New Mexico.
“We’ll be doing the same work we’ve been doing all along,” Katherine Freeman, president and CEO of United Way of Santa Fe County (UWSFC), said Wednesday.
