The two of us spoke for about 15 minutes on a cold day and by the end of that quarter hour I was happy to sign his petition for Aundre’s bid in the primary. The most remarkable thing about Aundré is that he is able to inspire excitement and turn it into action. That is the mark of a gifted leader. Bumgardner is an energizing force in our political landscape. I am impressed by the reach of his work, as many of my friends across the shoreline remark on his tenacity, focus, and teamwork. I am confident that his determination is an asset for Groton City. Developing our waterfront areas, partnering with neighboring municipalities, and preparing for economic realities that the shifting local business downsizing will entail are the kinds of issues Aundré gets peo ....
