Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is expanding career and technical education (CTE) opportunities for high school students. CCPS recently finalized with the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) three new technical certification pathways that begin next school year. High school students who participate in the new two-year programs will earn certifications in medical coding, pharmacy technician or electrical trades.
An in-person Tech Talk for parents is set for 6 to 7 p.m., Dec. 4, at Milton M. Somers Middle School. The educational session is provided by Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) and the Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Unit.
