Two summer theatrical productions are reaching out to the youth of Jackson County.
Starbursts Children’s Theater is for those in kindergarten through seventh grade. They are to perform a large cast version of the classic “Peter Pan.”
Rising Stars Youth Theater is for those in seventh grade through age 21. They are performing “Tragedians Anonymous: Shakespeare’s Tragic Characters in Therapy . Virtually.”
Both productions are created and continued by the Jackson County Players.
The children’s theater program has been active for more than a decade, according to Doug Torres, president of Jackson County Players and director of the plays.
