State Police arrest Holyoke woman after chase ends in Bernardston

BERNARDSTON State troopers arrested a Holyoke woman Wednesday afternoon following a pursuit that ended when the vehicle she was driving struck tire-deflation devices that a trooper deployed across the northbound lane of Interstate 91.
Katherine M. DeJesus, 31, pulled over in the breakdown lane and was taken into custody on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, failure to stop for police, negligent operation, driving with a suspended license, marked lanes violations, speeding and possession of a Class B substance, according to State Police spokesperson David Procopio. DeJesus was booked at the Shelburne Falls barracks. ....
